The Food Truck Accessibility job helps order food for people who have trouble with the crowds around the food trucks. This is a pretty loud job. 

The Quiet Zone Accessibility volunteer sits at our Quiet Zone in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and provides a face and welcome to any festival goers who need a quiet place to relax.

The Bartender is responsible for safely serving drinks and collecting tickets in the main bar area of the beverage gardens. Ensures quick, friendly service and maintains a clean, organized serving space. Shift 1 individuals are also responsible for setting up the bar areas (including umbrellas, signage, stocking etc)

The Bartender in the Substance Free tent is responsible for keeping the tent stocked, selling tickets, and serving the drinks. You are able to divvy up tasks with the other volunteers in the tent, and it is generally more flexible than the other bars. 

The Cashier Assistant supports the cashier by handing out the correct number of drink tickets, restocking ticket rolls, and notifying supervisors when change or supplies are needed. Helps keep the line moving smoothly and efficiently.

The Clean Team keeps all beverage garden areas clean and inviting by clearing tables and lawns, and ensuring waste is properly sorted into liquids, recycling, compost, and trash. Helps maintain a tidy, eco-friendly event space for guests.

Helps with directing Traffic and Pedestrians on Broadway. Loud environment dealing with drivers, requires walking and standing for a couple hours. 

Logistics on the Dispatch team is responsible for answering radio calls and dispatching our Runners to where they are needed. This job requires exceptional listening skills as it can be difficult to understand radio chatter. There is a degree of expectation of urgency.

The Runner on the Dispatch team helps with logistics and restocking booths and tents when supplies are needed. This job is pretty active and requires a lot of walking/roaming around the festival site. 

Clearing a path and corralling the parade floats into lot 117 as the parade finishes.

Collecting the parade marshall vests. Assisting in the movement of the end of Parade into lot 117. Assisting in directional and festival questions. Collection all parade volunteer signs and items. This position will meet at the volunteer check in at the forks.

The Info Tent Attendant serves as the go-to person for event information and assistance. Answers questions from attendees, provides maps or schedules, and helps direct people to key areas or services.

The Kids Zone Merch Cashier is responsible for selling merchandise in the Kids Zone at the festival grounds. The cashier will be responsible for ringing up sales, processing cash and credit card transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

The Stocker keeps the merch tent stocked with shirts, hats, and more throughout the event. Supports cashiers by restocking quickly and keeping storage areas organized. First shift is also responsible for helping to set up the opening of the tent. 

The Merch Cashier is responsible for selling merchandise at the festival grounds. The cashier will be responsible for ringing up sales, processing cash and credit card transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

The Flag & Pin person in the merch booth is responsible for helping to hand out and sell the many different flags and pins we have. Knowledge of the designs is considered an asset, but you will start to learn them while on the job.

As a Mobile Sales volunteer, you are responsible for helping the cashier and ticket team when it's busy. You will walk through the line and within the gated beverage garden to sell mobile tickets. 

Parade Accessibility Support assists in managing accessible viewing areas and ensures they remain safe and comfortable for attendees. Answers accessibility-related questions and helps guests navigate accommodations along the parade route.

The Parade Ambassador are space along the route to ensure entries follow safety policies and procedures. Helps keep audience members on sidewalks and brings positive energy by engaging and hyping up the crowd. They will have a set section to stick to for the duration of the parade. They will communicate with the Parade Director and Coordinator with any emergencies. They will follow behind the parade at the end to Lot P117

The Parade Route Patrol helps by flagging and marking turns or checkpoints, managing crosswalks, parking lots, and end zones. 

The Parade Site Crew helps set up & take down check-in tables, signage, and materials for parade floats and walking groups. Greets participants, checks them in, and assigns each group to their designated waiting area before the parade begins, to be audited by the Parade Director/Coordinator.

The Rally Crew helps prepare the event space before the rally begins and once it is over. This includes A/V equipment, banners, signage, tables, and other materials needed for a smooth event. During the event, the Rally Crew will help hype the crowd and roam the site to ensure safety, accessibility, and direct individuals to Staff/Organizers.

The Runner works with the stockers to fetch items that might be running low or help them quickly stock items. This could involve getting into refer trucks and fetching bags of ice.

Set Up helps with setting up the festival grounds on the Friday before. This involves some things like a bit of elbow grease sometimes and fighting with chairs and tables. 

Stages help the stage managers and coordinators with any tasks related to the stages at the festival. This could entail setting up extra tables and chairs to helping transport items for artists performing.

Take Down starts right after the festival ends! We need to strike most of the site by Monday morning at Noon. 

This job usually involves quite a bit of lifting as its taking down chairs and tables and stacking them, among other activities that are site specific.
